Sleeves
Sleeves are used to mount bearings with a tapered bore.
Generally, bearings used in Housings are mounted on straight or stepped shafts by means of an Adapter Sleeve – the most popular Sleeve choice due to their versatility and easy mounting characteristics or, with a withdrawal sleeve, which can be used on stepped shafts only. These Sleeves are available in appropriate sizes for the range of bearings used in housings etc.
