Price Increases Imminent
As December approaches we are faced with the inevitable price increases by the manufacturers. However, don’t be too disheartened, as price increases have an upside too. Buying extra stock now, means you can maximise your profits after the prices increase.
Price increases as follows:

The files are available in Excel and CSV file formats but not everyone wants to see the prices onscreen so we have created special print-friendly versions in pdf format. Clive Simkins has been appointed as Business Development Manager at Acorn. Clive, a former SKF employee of 18 years, has experience in many aspects of the industry including internal & external sales, distribution, technical advice, training and commercial, equipping him with an excellent understanding of the bearing and power transmission marketplace. With many different manufactures available in the bearing and power transmission industry, Acorn are ensuring staff have up-to-date training on products, equipping them with the knowledge and expertise needed to help customers.

All three experienced members of the sales team attended the NKE Bearing College in Steyr for a two day course. The course covers detailed information on the many type of bearings, bearing life and fatigue mechanisms, handling mounting and dismounting and technical information such as tolerances precision and accuracy which provides a useful refresher course.
Ashley Langford & Mark Turner have recently attended a similar course at the Megadyne polyurethane belt factory in Turin, Italy.
