Linear Bushings
Linear Bushes are widely used for cost effective, basic linear guidance.
At Acorn we have a very wide range of Linear Bushings to chose from, these include industry leading manufacturers such as THK, SKF, NB and IKO-with options available on other manufacturers upon request. This extensive choice of manufacturer enables us to supply Bushes for almost any application. Acorn stock Linear Bushes in depth and can provide an interchange for most manufacturer’s bushes.
SKF Linear Bushings
Series 1 Linear Ball Bearings and Units.
These are compact and easy to mount. SKF bearings are available with or without seals and in standard or corrosion resistant versions. Linear ball bearing units (bearing and housing) are available as single or tandem units. Tandem units include duo and quadro versions.
Series 3 Linear Ball Bearings and Units
This series includes the advanced cylindrical LBCR and LBCT designs, together with the self-aligning LBCD and LBCF. Again, these are all available in standard and corrosion resistant versions.

NB Linear Bushings
NB is a long established, Japanese manufacturer of high quality Linear Slide Bushings.
NB offer a very wide choice of Bushes, to suit almost all applications: lightweight, standard, clearance adjustable, open, flange and double wide types.
Standard and anti-corrosion versions are available.
NB slide bushes are available in primary dimensions series (Japan, Asia, Europe & North America), each with different dimensions and tolerances depending on the location of use.
The standard NB Bush uses a bearing steel outer cylinder. The anti corrosion version uses Martensitic stainless steel. Single body steel (stainless steel for the anti corrosion type) retainers and resin retainers for low noise can be specified.

IKO Linear Bushings
IKO are a leading Japanese manufacturer of Linear Motion products. They have a comprehensive range of Linear Bushings and Miniature Linear Bushings.
IKO Linear Bushes are available in high carbon steel and stainless steel, with a choice of resin or carbon steel for the retainer.
The IKO range includes adjustable clearance and open types and selas are offered as options.
