E-Commerce Manager required in our Rotherham Central Distribution Centre

Key responsibilities:
Ecommerce Strategy Development
Develop and implement a comprehensive ecommerce strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives. Identify market opportunities, conduct competitor analysis, and stay updated on industry trends to drive growth.
Website Management
Oversee the management and optimization of the company's ecommerce website. Ensure the website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for search engines. Collaborate with the IT team to address technical issues and implement enhancements.
Oversee the day-to-day running of the websites, and workflow of enquiries, orders, customers etc.
Sales and Revenue Growth
Develop and execute strategies to drive online sales and revenue growth. Analyse sales data, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement initiatives to maximize conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention.
Marketing and Promotions
Collaborate with the marketing team to create optimised web copy and articles etc. Develop and execute online marketing campaigns, promotions, and initiatives.
Product Management
Coordinate with the product management team to ensure accurate and up-to-date product listings, descriptions, and pricing on the ecommerce platform. Optimize product categorization, filtering, and search functionality to enhance the customer shopping experience.
Customer Experience Enhancement
Continuously improve the online customer experience by identifying and implementing website enhancements, optimizing the checkout process, and streamlining customer service processes. Monitor customer feedback, reviews, and ratings, and address any issues or concerns.
Analytics and Reporting
Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to ecommerce operations, including sales, conversion rates, website traffic & engagement, customer acquisition, retention (Churn), and customer behaviour. Generate monthly reports and present findings to line manager, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Leverage Google GA4 Analytics to produce insightful reports.
Development & optimisation
Liaise with web developers, SEO agencies and ecommerce professionals. Updating PPC campaigns ad groups. Provide guidance, coaching, and training to the team and customer service representatives to ensure the team's success and professional growth.
Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications Required:
- 3-5 years experience managing an e-commerce website
