What are the features and benefits of needle roller thrust bearings?

Needle roller thrust bearings provide a high level of stiffness whilst taking up minimal axial space.

These bearings are able to tolerate heavy axial loads, but cannot tolerate any level of shock loads or vibration.

Needle roller thrust bearings are commonly found on vertical applications such as spindles, as well as small gearboxes.
