In recognition of our specialist linear motion knowledge and expertise, Acorn Industrial Services Ltd has received a new elevated status as SKF’s first preferred partner for linear and actuation technology. 

Having worked with SKF for over ten years as one of its largest SKF Authorised Distributors. ACORN will now act as SKF's preferred partner, handling a broad portfolio of SKF products that includes linear guides and tables, ball screws and roller screws, and electric actuation systems.

ACORN has assembled a dedicated, specialist linear motion team that is highly experienced in all aspects of SKF's linear and actuation technology portfolio. Recognised as the UK’s largest stockist of SKF linear and actuation products, ACORN also offers a cutting service that will deliver customer specified lengths of shafts, screws and precision rail guides. In turn, SKF are committed to providing ACORN with product support, product training, marketing support and referrals to ensure its customers receive the best technical service.
SKF’s linear motion products benefit from the Company's broad knowledge of bearings, rotating machinery and mechatronic systems. The range includes linear drive systems, including both ground and precision rolled ball screws and roller screws; linear ball bearings, profile and precision rail guides and linear tables; and a range of electrically-driven linear actuators and telescopic pillars together with their associated control units.
