Ideal when space is limited, the RHP SFT Self Lube housed bearing features an oval-shaped housing with two bolt holes used to secure the bearing unit in place. The SFT40 consists of an SFT6CAS cast iron housing (complete with grease nipple for re-lubrication), a 1040-40G (40mm bore) bearing insert, featuring a spherical od to accommodate initial misalignment, Nitrile/fabric seals to protect against the ingress of dirt and moisture, and two grub screws that lock the bearing onto the shaft.
The bearing insert, which can be ordered separately, can be removed and replaced when necessary.
