What are thrust spherical plain bearings and where are they used?
Most commonly used on vertical shafts, thrust spherical plain bearings have an excellent axial load carrying capacity.
These bearings are extremely tolerant of shock loads, and have a high level of wear resistance.
Thrust spherical plain bearings are found on vertical applications and structures where axial loads are high, for example bridges and apartment blocks.
