Shrink Discs

Shrink discs are external, keyless locking devices used to create a secure, backlash‑free connection between a hollow shaft and a solid shaft or hub. By clamping onto the outside of the hollow shaft, shrink discs provide a high‑capacity, frictional connection without the need for keyways, splines or thermal shrinking.
