SKF NU Bearings

SKF NU bearings are single-row cylindrical roller bearings designed to carry high radial loads while allowing axial displacement of the shaft in both directions. They are commonly used as floating bearings in bearing arrangements.

Basic Design

  • Outer ring: Two ribs (flanges)

  • Inner ring: No ribs

  • Result: Inner ring and shaft can move axially relative to the housing
