Today's the day

Today marks the day that the new Acorn website goes live. The project has taken me almost two years from conception to completion and comprises of around 204 web pages at last count.

I hope the new site will provides you with a more complete picture of the products and services available from our distribution centres and branches across the country. The new site offers new ways to contact your nearest branch directly - either by using the online Contact Us form, the Call-back feature or via the stock checking and product enquiry facility.

UK Trade customers still have access to Acorn Advantage, which can be accessed via the ‘Login’ link at the top of all pages. The Advantage service now has an additional feature which allows you to check stock items and for the first time, see the items list price online. Once you have checked stock you can add items to your product enquiry and send it directly to Acorn for an official quote.

It’s worth keeping an eye on the new Blog feature, either by going to the website, or by subscribing to the RSS feed. It’s designed to keep you more informed about what’s happening both at Acorn and in our industry – it will include details of new product launches by the manufacturers etc. and also provide more information on products available and new services at Acorn and so on.  

In addition to the new website and blog, you can also keep up with what’s happening via our Twitter and Facebook pages. There are links on the home page if you would like to follow us on any of these services.
