How do stethoscopes work?
Abnormal sounds from machines often indicate that something is wrong. Dismantling the machinery is time consuming and costly. If only there were a way to get an idea of what is going on inside the machinery, without having to dismantle it.
A stethoscope can be used to help pinpoint the source of the sound and can aid the technician in identifying the problem, without any dismantling required.
It is a high quality, sensitive instrument enabling the determination of troublesome machine parts by the detection of machine noises or vibrations.
