Simplex chain

Simplex chain is a general-purpose transmission or drive chain suitable for use in many different applications and machinery. Manufactured to British standards (BS) or American standards (ANSI), these transmission chains are available in standard steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel plate or zinc plate.

Environmental tip: If reducing CO2 emissions is an important consideration, try a chain which delivers substantially longer wear life. Tsubaki GT4 Winner chain needs replacing less often, saving you money in the long run and reducing manufacturing CO2 emissions.

What applications use simplex roller chain?

Single strand roller chain is the most widely used type of chain in industry. This type of chain provides a smooth and efficient flow of power, with low friction.

It can be found in a vast range of industrial applications, including packaging and printing equipment, bottling machines, marine cam shafts and timber processing applications.
