What are SKF bearing inserts?
Bearing inserts are secured within a bearing housing, along with a sealing solution, to make up a bearing unit.
SKF bearing inserts have a convex outer ring to accommodate for misalignment. They also often have an extended inner ring with a specific locking device to simplify mounting onto the shaft.
