Garry Haines joins ACORN as Linear & Automation Product Manager
Acorn Industrial Services Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of its new Linear & Automation Product Manager, Garry Haines. Garry brings 25 years of specialist linear knowledge with him to the role, making him perfect to work with customers on their technical linear and automation requirements.
Garry joins ACORN® from Bosch Rexroth, where he gained 24 years of experience, latterly as a Product Support Specialist, after starting his career as a Technical Support Engineer for a wide range of automation products. This laid the foundation for his specialist know-how not only on linear guides, ball screw drives, linear systems, and actuators but also on aluminium frameworks, machine guarding, conveyor systems and motor and drive technology.
On his appointment, Garry said: “I'm looking forward to increasing my knowledge across all of the products and services that Acorn can supply, integrating with the various suppliers and supporting new and existing customers to realise automation products to help improve efficiency and productivity within their workplaces.”
Garry’s knowledge and experience complement Acorn's business goals perfectly. He utilizes his specialist technical skills to service customers' projects with automation solutions that enhance the services that ACORN supplies. This only strengthens the automation range and, thus, the existing linear motion offering.
