What are the benefits of choosing Protorque poly-v ribbed belts?

ProTorque poly-v ribbed belts showcase longitudinal v-shaped ribs on the inside of the belt, which increase the contact area between the belt and pulley.

This increases the co-efficient of friction, reducing the chance of belt slippage and meaning that the belt is able to transmit more power than an identically sized flat or v-belt. This allows the belt to be used in high speed drives which are limited in terms of space. 

These belts also have a high level of efficiency, reducing the amount of energy that is lost within the drive.
