Raw edge molded cog classical V-belts

If you require longer lasting performance, the PROTORQUE raw edge molded cog classical v-belt could be your answer. Increased belt flexibility low slip, high efficiency and longer service life are just some of the benifits the PROTORQUE molded cog v-belt offers over traditional wrapped v-belts. 

Improved compression whilst the belt is running gives the added bonus of reduced pulley wear. The fibre loaded raw edge cogged profile also improves belt wear and slip resistance.

The PROTORQUE cogged v-belt is ideal for applications where wrapped classical v-belts are likely to reach their performance limits.

  • You need better heat dissipation and potentially longer belt life

What are Protorque® cogged V‑belts?

Protorque® cogged V‑belts are V‑belts with moulded cogs (notches) on the inner side. The cogs increase flexibility, reduce bending resistance, and help the belt run cooler, making them ideal for smaller pulley diameters or higher‑speed drives.
