What are the features and benefits of Timken single row taper roller bearings?
Timken single row tapered roller bearings have one row of rollers which sit between a tapered inner and outer raceway. Their tapered contact angle allows them to support both radial and axial thrust loads in one direction simultaneously.
These bearings have a low friction design, which reduces the running temperature of the bearing, increasing efficiency and prolonging the life of the bearing.
Timken single row taper roller bearings are often used in pairs in order to support axial thrust loads in both directions. They are used in this way in can and van wheel bearings.
