What are Banded Belts?
Banded belts are a belt assembly designed to solve issues with multiple singular belts running side-by-side on a drive.
Key features of banded belts
Banded belts consist of several individual belts, joined together by a tie band, which is typically made of rubber or a rubber-fabric composite

Load Sharing: The tie band on a banded belt ensures that the individual belts in the set maintain the same pitch and tension, forcing them operate and share equal load.

Stability: By preventing individual strands from whipping or jumping off the grooves in the pulley, banded belts can improve stability substantially.
Reduced Maintenance: By preventing belt turnover and increasing the overall stability of the individual belts, banded belts reduce the amount of maintenance required and therefore downtime.
