How do cogged wedge belts differ from cogged v-belts?

When a traditional v-belt isn’t powerful enough, or you don’t have the space to add more, this is where the wedge belt steps up.
Raw edge cogged wedge belts have a higher dynamic load rating than a traditional v-belt, meaning that you can use less belts to transmit the same amount of power.
