SKF single row cylindrical roller bearings are high-capacity, radial load bearings that use a single row of cylindrical rollers to provide high stiffness, high load capacity and good speed performance in a relatively compact design. They are one of the most common bearing types in gearboxes, electric motors and general industrial machinery.
SKF single row cylindrical roller bearings feature cylindrical rolling elements which are in direct linear contact with the raceways. They consist of an outer and an inner race, with a bronze, steel or polyamide cage which houses the cylindrical rollers.
With a high load capacity and the ability to operate at moderate speeds, single row cylindrical roller bearings are amongst the most commonly used bearings across the globe.
Two flanges on outer ring, no flanges on inner ring
Allows axial displacement of the shaft
Radial loads only
Two flanges on inner ring, no flanges on outer ring
Allows axial displacement of the bearing in housing
Radial loads only
One flange on inner ring, two flanges on outer ring
Supports axial load in one direction
Can act as locating bearing in axial direction
One flange on inner ring, two on outer ring
Supports axial load in both directions
Can be preloaded to eliminate play
